The United Nations Security Council is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, charged with ensuring international peace and security. But has UN failed to deliver that?
The organization responsible for guiding Kosovo out of the chaos of a crippling civil war, UNMIK, became somewhat of a detested figure within the region, and eight years after its start in 1999, decided to abort their mission and let the EU take over in Kosovo. Does this mark as a failure?Adding to that Fifteen consecutive years of United Nations peacekeeping operations in Haiti are coming to a close in October. What led to this?
UNHRC
The United Nations Human Rights Council is a United Nations body whose mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world. In this session of HRC we discuss how the Israeli government continues to enforce severe and discriminatory restrictions on Palestinians’ human rights; restrict the movement of people and goods into and out of the Gaza Strip; and facilitate the unlawful transfer of Israeli citizens to settlements in the occupied West Bank.
UNWOMEN
UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. UN Women supports UN Member States as they set global standards for achieving gender equality, and works with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programmes and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented and truly benefit women and girls worldwide. But will Orthodox countries that agree with the statement, “Women have a responsibility to society and that is to bear children,” [including at least three-quarters in Armenia (82%), Romania (81%) and Bulgaria (77%) and about six-in-ten in Russia and Belarus (59% each)]ever let empowerment succeed?
UNEP
The United Nations Environment Programme is a programme of the United Nations that coordinates the organization's environmental activities and assists developing countries in implementing environmentally sound policies and practices. The average annual temperature at the earth's surface has risen since the late 1800s, with year-to-year variations.The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report concluded, "It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century." Societal responses to climate change includes mitigation by emissions reduction, adaptation to its effects, and possibly climate engineering.The ultimate goal of the convention is to prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.
ECOFIN
The Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) is responsible for EU policy in three main areas: economic policy, taxation issues and the regulation of financial services. The Economic and Financial Affairs Council is one of the oldest configurations of the Council of the European Union. ECOFIN is responsible for EU policy in three main areas: economic policy, taxation issues and the regulation of financial services. money laundering is a consequence of almost all profit generating crime thus can occur practically anywhere in the world. Money launderers tend to seek out countries or sectors in which there is a low risk of detection due to weak or ineffective anti-money laundering programmes. Because the objective of money laundering is to get the illegal funds back to the individual who generated them, launderers usually prefer to move funds through stable financial systems.
DISEC
The United Nations General Assembly First Committee is one of six main committees at the General Assembly of the United Nations. It deals with disarmament and international security matters. In relation to which the committe looks forward to discuss The Middle East Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone (MENWFZ) i.e. a longstanding, United Nations-driven proposal to prohibit nuclear weapons in the Middle East. A nuclear-weapon-free zone (NWFZ) is a specified region in which countries commit themselves not to manufacture, acquire, test, or possess nuclear weapons, five of which currently exist with four of them spanning the entire Southern Hemisphere.
LOK SABHA
The Lok Sabha or House of the People is the lower house of India's bicameral Parliament. Since long Article 370 of the Indian constitution which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir—a state in India, located in the northern part of Indian subcontinent, had been a topic of discussion and debate in the lower house. This committee will focus on whether the revocation of this article would be a decision in the favour of our country, or not. In the house for the days of the conference, the resolution passed removing the special status of the state under article 370 will hold no significance. And by the end of this committee session we are bound to find out if revocation was a historic blunder or perhaps a rectification to a historic blunder.
IP
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. International Press is a team of delegates who are either roleplaying Photographers, Caricatures or Reporters of major news agency. Their duty is to cover the entire conference. The Press Team will be responsible for reporting on the events of the conference, and the progress made by all of the committees.
FIFA
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association is a non-profit organization which describes itself as an international governing body of association football, fútsal, beach soccer, and efootball. It is the highest governing body of football. In this committee of the conference, delegates will be discussing UEFA FFP (i.e. financial fair play) regulations.The UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations (FFP) were established to prevent professional football clubs spending more than they earn in the pursuit of success and in doing so getting into financial problems which might threaten their long-term survival.

The delegates will be putting in a thought at hypothetical situations that might have been a part of the series and discuss how adversely/drastically it could have affected the coming episodes or perhaps seasons.
